I am an American retiree residing in the Philippines. I would like to import a Brinkman "All in one" BBQ from the USA. In America it is set up to use Propane gas, but in the Philippines propane is not available, the standard is Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG). Can the imported unit use LPG instead of propane without alteration? If not what needs to be altered?

I have take the unit apart and drilled the orifice hole size to 0.0715". But the unit doesn’t work correctly. The gas burner now give very little flame and the flame is like a ghost. I can not hardly see the uniqueness of the flame. How would I fix this problem?

It’s for a science project. I can’t seem to find the information needed.

I need: 1) A definition of what propane is
2) A detailed description of "how it works"
3) Describe how widely it works.
4) Describe benefits [including that to the environment]
5) Describe drawbacks [costs, needs to develop technology]
6) Examples of how it’s being used.

I need references, if possible!

This is really important!

I have a propane gas burner which I tried to convert to natural gas uses from the house. I drilled the orifice to 0.0605" for using the natural gas output. Some how it doesn’t work. The flame is so small and like it is disappear. Is it I am lacking the oxygen? If so, how do I get more oxygen to have a stronger flame. This unit is use outside so I am not worry about Carbon dioxide. Please help.

My in-laws camping stove turns the bottom of all my pots and pans BLACK and its difficult to wash off the soot. Is it my fuel or the stove? I’m planning to borrow my own parents smaller Coleman stove instead but if its my "Ozarks Trail" propane that’s doing it I guess it won’t make a difference! Anyone know? Thanks!
