We live in an apartment overseas which has been outfitted with full-size American appliances. The gas source here is LPG, so our Kenmore range was converted (how well the conversion was done is anyone’s guess). We have had a gas smell in the cabinet adjacent to the range ever since we moved in, and while our maintenance guy has tried various methods to seal up the gaps, the hose itself is vinyl, which I’m assuming is leaching gas and causing the gas odor. So, can an LPG range ever be properly plumbed with vinyl tubing? Or should I insist on metal?

From what I’ve read, it seems that conversion of diesel engines to lpg are not that common, if ever it is possible. Some say that the conversion will entail the use of diesel and lpg at the same time. Can anyone show me a site where I can research further on the conversion of existing diesel engines to lpg. thanks

Is it natural to have less power on LPG than gasoline. I cannot feel the power after the conversion.

I want to know whether conversion of a petrol car to lpg is viable or not?

I wonder if someone knows a place that sells and installs LPG setup (axillary tank, lines, valves) in a car to make it operable on both gas and LPG. I live in Pittsburgh area. Back when in my "previous life" on the other side of the pond, LPG conversion was very common and liquefied propane was cheaper and refilling stations were available in several spots in the city where I lived. Could not find anything on Google…Gas mileage on my 8cyl Discovery sucks, but I want to keep the truck…
