When you have a choice between cooking something using the propane gas grill (i.e the "cooker" that is frequently found beside the grilling oven on many grills), or doing it on your regular electric stove, which is better in terms of cost?
I don’t even know if I am wording this right. I am currently looking for at a house to rent that uses propane. I think it has a 500 gallon tank and the current renter put 180 gallons in it and said we can have it with the house.
How long will we be able to heat the house for this Colorado winter? I just have no idea. He said if we use it "sparingly" it could last 4 months. Lets say we want to keep the house at 70.
When Eddie (the Manager of Young’s Backpacking) first pulled out the MSR Pocket Rocket in its little case I thought he was joking. Smaller than a Coke can, the Pocket Rocket is insanely small and lightweight yet is able to perform most camp cooking/boiling duties. It’s also extremely easy to use and can be up and running in less than a minute. On top of that, the price tag puts it within reach of any camper/backpacker looking for a good reliable stove.
